We are happy to introduce SimaPro 9.0! The latest version of SimaPro comes with an updated database system for increased speed and stability. We also included ecoinvent 3.5 plus the latest methods.
The main feature of SimaPro 9.0 release is the new database system which speeds up the loading of data and brings more stability. This update was needed to support the continuous increase in data in ecoinvent and other libraries. SimaPro databases are automatically converted when you open your database with the new SimaPro 9.0 (a backup copy is made as you cannot open the converted database with SimaPro 8).  We also include a number of smaller improvements and bug fixes in the software, including a fix for recent issues loading Excel spreadsheets.
This release includes four new methods: EF method (adapted), EPD (2018), Environmental Prices and Cumulative Energy Demand (LHV)). ReCipe was substantially updated with normalisation and weighting data. Corrective updates were made in Cumulative Energy Demand and AWARE methods.
